• How to setup your Domain Name?
  
  Setting up your Domain Name first step is to choose your Domain Name . Like .com, .org, .net or .edu from InterNIC. Like .com.hk, .net.hk, .org.hk or .edu.hk from HKNIC. Practically there is no difference in using an InterNIC domain and a HKNIC domain. The only difference is pricing. For InterNIC domains, the charge is US$70 for registration and maintenance for the first 2 years. After then you'll have to pay US$35. per year for maintenance. For HKNIC domains, the one-off charge is HK$200. and there is no annual maintenance charge. But if you register through iTHome, a special discount will be got.

• 怎樣申請自己的 Domain Name呢?
  
  網上有很多主管不同domain name的機構, 如果要申請 .com, .org, .net, .edu 等domain name, 可以到 InterNIC。至於要申請任何 .hk 尾的 domain name, 則要到 HKNIC。向 InterNIC 申請domain name的費用是首次要付 US$70 (首兩年),以後每年 US$35。至於 HKNIC, 則是每年付 HK$200。
  
  若果申請任何 .hk 尾的 domain name,香港互聯網訊息中心要求用戶提交公司商業登記証作為 首次登記之用。請傳真貴公司的商業登記証予iTHome--8101 9031處理網域名稱的登記手續。
