Setting up your own web site is easy. The first step is to choose a domain name for your
web site. You can simply input your desired domain name here and we'll help you to check
if it is available.
Currently we support the domains from InterNIC, like *.com, *.net or
*.org, and domains from HKNIC, like *.com.hk, *.net.hk or *.org.hk.
Practically there is no difference in using an InterNIC
domain and a HKNIC domain. The only difference is pricing. For InterNIC domains, the
charge is US$70 for registration and maintenance for the first 2 years. After then you'll
have to pay US$35 per year for maintenance. For HKNIC domains, the one-off charge is
HK$200 and there is no annual charge from HKNIC, but
Business Registration copy is required for HKNIC approval. |
